The proposed Grange Castle West Access Road Phase 1 Scheme comprised, but not limited to, the following works as outlined below;
- 1.03km of Dual Carriageway with an average corridor width of 34m, including bulk earthworks.
- 1 No. double lane and 1 No. single lane fully segregated roundabouts.
- Raised 2m wide cycle path and separate 2m wide pedestrian walkway.
- A 3 tiered landscaped attenuation lake to accommodate surface water drainage requirements from the proposed road and surrounding hardstand areas which doubled up as an amenity area and feature pond with fountains and other water features.
- Construction of Pump Station for attenuation lake fountains, large box culvert to accommodate stream diversion.
- The construction of an ICW (Integrated Constructed Wetland) to treat surface water discharging from the proposed attenuation lake prior to discharging to the ex. Tobermaclugg Stream
- Controlled and uncontrolled pedestrian and cyclist road crossings.
- Landscaped entrance plaza and security structures to aesthetically harmonize with existing Grange Castle and Grange Castle South Business Park entrances.
- Bus stops and sustainable transport facilities.
- Underground utilities and services including surface water drainage, foul drainage, watermain, gas main, power (LV, MV, 110kV and 38kV), 16-way telecoms, public lighting and CCTV.
- Introduction of road markings and signage.
- Integrated landscaping plans including perimeter berms, and
- All associated ancillary works.

The proposed Grange Castle West Access Road Phase 2 Scheme comprised, but not limited to, the following works as outlined below:
- Construction of single lane carriageway (circa 700m) with an average corridor width of 25m, including bulk earthworks.
- 1 no. single lane fully segregated roundabout.
- Provision of segregated cycle and pedestrian facilities, including 2m wide cycle track and 2m wide footway throughout the extent of the proposed scheme.
- Controlled and uncontrolled pedestrian and cyclist crossings.
- Bus stops and sustainable transport facilities.
- Underground utilities and services including surface water drainage, foul drainage, watermain, gas main, power (LV, MV, 110kV and 38kV), 16-way telecoms, public lighting and CCTV.
- Introduction of road markings and signage.
- Integrated landscaping plans including perimeter berms, and
- All associated ancillary works.
