Construction of bus lanes and a bus interchange and the provision of cycle tracks, and upgrade of footpaths and 3 signalised pedestrian crossing facilities at Blanchardstown Town Centre. The interchange serves as a public transport hub for the Blanchardstown catchment.
The scheme included the following:
- 550m of road widening and service diversions to facilitate construction of bus lanes and a bus interchange.
- The provision of cycle tracks, and upgrade of footpaths and 3No. signalised pedestrian crossing facilities.
- Bespoke architecturally designed bus shelters, architecturally selected lamp standards and landscaping, and a high standard of workmanship was required and achieved.
CSEA were involved in the project from inception to completion as Designer and PSDP. The following services were provided: development of a preliminary design, tender documentation, detailed design, and site supervision for this project.
