Clifton Scannell Emerson Associates (CSEA) were commissioned by IDA Ireland in 1999 to carry out a site selection process to purchase lands in Drogheda for development as a Business Park.
- 60 acre site recommended and purchased
- The development was master Planned by Henry J Lyons & Partners Architects
- Development provided for approximately 25 office buildings up to 4 storeys in height
- Full planning Permission was granted in May 2000
- Extensive archaeological testing and resolution has been carried out by Archaeologists on site
- CSEA were project managers for the site development works and were responsible for dealing with the two local authorities, Drogheda Borough Council and Meath County Council, and with a number of third party landowners
- External works included the construction of 700m of large diameter foul and surface water sewers through third party lands and the diversion of 350m of 600mm dia. Watermain
- Other works included the diversion of 2 No. 38kV overhead power lines, upgrading of the Donore Road to dual carriageway standard to link to the M1 Donore Road Interchange and a 60m inscribed diameter roundabout
- Entrance feature included significant mounding with decorative dry stonewalls
