Education:              Third Level Engineering Qualification 
                                 (Level 8 or higher)

The Role: Senior Structural Engineer - 10+ Years exp.

This position is responsible for development of the structural design, and construction management of the project. The candidate should have the ability to manage and work efficiently within a team of engineers and modellers to develop the design and construction documentation; on site the engineer will be responsible for reviewing of technical submission; RFI responses inspections and liaising with the client and contractors. 

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the project and the project team from inception to completion.
• Acting as a Senior Structural Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams.
• Design input and oversight of the delivery of all Structural aspects of projects.
• Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
• Communication with internal and external parties.
• Leading the preparation of design drawings.
• Undertaking duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.

Desirable Skills and Atrributes:

• Chartered Engineer

• Good communication skills and can prioritise and manage workload effectively
• Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in use of structural design software
• Proficient in use of structural design software
• Proficient in the development of construction drawings and associated engineering reports
• Experience working in Germany
• Fluency in German
