Civil Engineer - 5+ Years exp

Location:                 The Highline, Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin

Education:              Third Level Engineering Qualification 
                                 (Level 8 or higher)

Role: Civil Engineer - 5+ Years exp

This position is responsible for development of the civil design, and construction management of the project. The candidate should have the ability to manage and work efficiently within a team of engineers and modelers to develop the design and construction documentation, on site the engineer will be responsible for reviewing of technical submission, RFI responses inspections and liaising with the client and contractors.

Duties will include:

• Manage the project and the project team from inception to completion.
• Acting as a Senior Civil Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams.
• Design input and oversight of the delivery of all Civil aspects of projects.
• Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
• Communication with internal and external parties.
• Leading the preparation of design drawings.
• Undertaking duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.

Desirable skills/attributes:

• Chartered Engineer.
• Good communication skills and can prioritise and manage workload effectively.
• Experience in delivery of Civil Engineering Design.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Proficient in use of civil design software.
• Proficient in the development of construction drawings and associated engineering reports.
